Explore different rhythmic subdivisions by changing the meter and division:

/4 meters: divide each beat by 2, 3, or 4. 4/4 starts on 2 for clean eighth-note ideas.
/8 meters: divide each eighth by 2 for semiquavers or 3 for triplet figures.
Staves beam 5/8 as 3+2, 6/8 as 3+3, and 7/8 as 3+2+2.

Explore traditional Indian Ragas and specialized blues scales:

Bhairav / Mayamalavagowla: The double harmonic major scale, featuring flat 2nd and flat 6th degrees. Highly emotive and mystical.
Yaman / Kalyani: Equivalent to the Lydian mode with a sharp 4th. Bright, meditative, and classical.
